Many animated films have released this year and the year 2009 too seems very promising. In fact, next year they are going to release the animated stop-motion fantasy film, Caroline, which is based on a novella. Now D3Publisher has sent word about the Caroline game for the consoles.
The Caroline game will let gamers explore and interact with immersive 3-D environments. The game features the Pink Palace and all the nooks and crannies and apartments as well as the unpredictable Other World. Gamers can also play unique mini-games and Wybie and Cat, Coraline’s friends, also feature in the game.
Bill Anker, VP, Business Development, D3Publisher says, “The Coraline movie is absolutely mesmerizing and we feel that the visual style and tone of the game will bring the astounding stop-motion animated film and thrilling storyline to life for players. We are confident that Coraline will offer a really immersive and interactive gameplay experience that gamers as well as fans of the movie and best-selling book will enjoy.”
The Coraline game is being developed for the PS2 and the Wii by Papaya Studios. The Nintendo DS version of the Coraline game is being developed by Art Co. Ltd. The Coraline game is expected to be out in the early part of next year.
