Just Cause 3 was one of the most appreciated games of 2015, and although its massive open world has a ton of things to give it a high replay value, what was lacking was a multiplayer mode. Well some modders have solved that problem by delivering a completely free mod that turns the game into a multiplayer extravaganza.
If that sounds like déjà vu, do note that same had happened with Just Cause 2, albeit, years after its release. The mod we are talking about here is JC3:MP, and it only works with the Steam version of the game. In fact, it will soon be arriving on Valve’s distribution platform as well.
The JC3:MP mod for Just Cause 3 allows you to explore and destroy the open world environments of the game together. You can indulge in races, deathmatches and several other activities competitively or cooperatively.
In order to start playing it, all you need to do is download the mod from this link and run the new launcher. The system requirements do not change from what they are for the base game, in case you’re wondering.
Developed by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 3 is an open world action-adventure title which retains the series’ extreme gameplay elements. Its story has protagonist Rico Rodriguez returning to his birthplace of Medici, which is under the control of a dictator named General Sebastiano Di Ravello. The game is available for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC.
But of course, only the PC version of Just Cause 3 can take advantage of the JC3:MP mod.
