History is about to be written, even as GTA V is set to be made available for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 all over the world tomorrow. Rockstar Games might be preparing for feedback on the much anticipated title, but its support staff is busy answering questions of gamers right now. In one such query, the company has advised that it would be better for the game’s performance if you don’t install its second disc on your Xbox 360 systems.
@justinkeppler @Insanely_Bored @EliDrinksZona An 8GB install is required. For optimal performance, we recommend not installing the play disc

For Microsoft’s console, GTA V is being delivered by means of two different discs. While one of them needs a mandatory installation, the other one is a ”˜play’ disc, and that’s the one Rockstar has advised against the installation of. Optimal performance has been cited as the reason for this, but it’s not quite sure in what way. And since the PS3 version is entirely on one disc, no such issues will be faced by owners of Sony’s console.
The open world title is all set to be made available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 tomorrow. While all previous games from the series have revolved around single protagonists, this one will be introducing three different playable characters in the form of Michael, Trevor and Franklin. It is said to feature a world so massive that it’s bigger than the ones from Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV and San Andreas combined.
GTA V is still to be announced for PC, and while Rockstar has stayed mum on the matter since the start, various rumors and leaks have indeed given away the possible existence of the said version.
