Promised in-game cash finally reaches GTA Online players

500,000 USD worth of in-game cash has started landing in the virtual accounts of GTA Online players who had played the game during October. This cash comes as a compensation for the various grave issues that were faced by them in the form of vanishing saved data, random freezes, server inconsistencies and more.

But after the release of several patches, the issues seem to have finally been brought under control by Rockstar, even as the game appears to be running quite smoothly now. About the in-game cash – or the Stimulus Package as it’s called – the developer has made it clear that it might take a couple of days for all the players to receive it, so keep checking if you don’t have your coffers full as yet.

Prior to this, Rockstar had announced that the GTA Online the Stimulus Package will be made available in two chunks of 250,000 USD each, but as it has turned out, players seem to be getting the cash all at once. A lot more is yet to enter the multiplayer portion of GTA 5 which received a sturdy 10/10 in our review of it.

For starters, there’s the Beach Bum update which is set to infuse some beach-themed content into the game. Moreover, Social Club events are also slated to begin soon, with Rockstar having said that it ‘can’t wait’ to bring more into the multiplayer universe of the title.

While GTA Online’s launch was a disaster, GTA V’s was a complete opposite, for the game went on to delight fans and critics from day one, breaking all sorts of records.
