Assassin’s Creed III Vita, Ghost Recon: Final Mission Outed By Retailers

We’re seeing heaps of titles being leaked by retailers before their official announcements, and the latest to join the list are Assassin’s Creed III Vita and Ghost Recon: Final Mission which were accidentally revealed by Zavvi and GAME, respectively. According to these websites, GR: Final Mission will be launched for Sony’s PS Vita sometime in 2012, while AC III will be released along with its console counterparts on October 31.

Assassin’s Creed III Vita

As spotted by Eurogamer, the box art of AC III seems to be the same that is present on its other versions, indicating that the game might just be an exact port of the original one. We’re seeing a number of PS3 franchises these days which are jumping on the Vita bandwagon. Take for instance the MGS HD Collection, Jet Set Radio, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter X Tekken and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. And hence, it seems a port of AC III won’t take that long to be developed.

Ghost Recon: Final Mission

GR: Final Mission on the other hand, looks like an individual game, as there are no indications that it is a port on any sort. If it comes out in 2012, it will be the third title in Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon series to be released this year, with GR: Future Soldier having been launched already and the free-to-play Ghost Recon Online slated to arrive later. On the websites we’ve listed above, the pricing for GR: Final Mission has been given as 34.99 Euros (approx. Rs. 2,425), whereas AC III finds itself wearing a 39.55 Euros (approx. Rs. 2,740) price tag.

With no proper information about Assassin’s Creed III Vita and Ghost Recon: Final Mission having been disclosed by Ubisoft as yet, it would be safe to assume that both are set to be officially revealed at E3 which commences next week in Los Angeles.
