As if two other RE titles weren’t enough, this year will also see the launch of Resident Evil 6 which was announced by Capcom recently. Slated to be released on November 20, 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, this title is claimed by the developer to blend action and survival horror genres. A PC version is also planned to release on a later date.
The story of this game will take place ten years after the outbreak incident. In hope of restraining the rebirth of bioterrorist activity, the President of the U.S. decides to let out the truth behind what transpired in Raccoon City. But it’s the President himself who gets infected, leaving his friend Leon Kennedy to make his hardest decision ever. Concurrently, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield lands in China, only to find the country on the verge of a bioterrorist attack, sparking fears of global outbreak.

This is the first game in the popular series to bring together Leon and Chris, who will be joined by new characters, each of them having their own unique perspective and involvement in the title. Moreover, the trailer posted above goes on to indicate that Ashley Graham from Resident Evil 4 will also be seen making an appearance.
Gamers will be able to lay their hands on Resident Evil 6 when it releases for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 20, 2012.
