Blades of Time Released for PS3 and Xbox 360

Russian developer Gaijin Entertainment, which was responsible for 2008’s X-Blades, has released its newest hack and slash offering named Blades of Time. On store shelves now for the PS3 and Xbox 360, this game is said to contain a revolutionary mechanic called ‘Time Rewind,’ which lets players clone themselves and travel back in time to attack enemies and solve puzzles.

Blades Of Time 1

This title’s protagonist is named Ayumi, who’s a treasure hunter adept at using both guns as well as swords. In the story, she has been spawned onto a remote land of lush trees and majestic landscapes, where she’s on the hunt for treasure. But soon, it’s realized that she’s not the only one on this island, and it’s filled with gargoyles, monsters and other dangerous creatures. Ayumi must now make her way out of Dragonland, by collecting more powers and better weaponry.

The game also includes a number of unique characters apart from the young yet tough, Ayumi, one of them being her wise and battle-worn mentor, Zero. This title will even come equipped with huge environments that span snowy lands, jungles, ancient cities, temples as well as sky islands. Furthermore, over forty different sets of skills, including melee, tactics, combos and the powerful Order and Chaos will be at the disposal of players.

Some special moves would also be available from time to time. The new Dash ability allows Ayumi to instantly close the distance between herself and her enemy, while also letting her travel quickly using environmental features. Gamers can even take advantage of the co-op and versus multiplayer modes on offer through the title.
