THQ recently announced that the Saints Row: The Third – Enter the Dominatrix expansion title has now entered the development stage. This release is currently planned for systems such as the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for a retail price of USD 29.99.
Being a standalone expansion for ‘The Third’ installation of the Saints Row franchise, this addition is said to bring in some ‘freaking super powers,’ a gameplay feature highly requested by the community, states the developer. Additional details are anticipated to surface sometime this summer.
“Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound… That’s the power you’ll find inside the Dominatrix. Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want. As always in Saints Row, it’s up to you,” commented Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Game Production, THQ. “With a franchise with more than 11 million units shipped globally, it’s incredibly gratifying to have the flexibility to give Saints Row fans the features they want most.”
The title picks up from where Saints Row: The Third left off. Having set his eyes on the Earth’s natural resources and maybe its women too, alien warlord Zinyak, plans on invading the planet, but captures the leader of the Saints firsts. Players will accompany the gang’s head who’s imprisoned in a virtual reality simulation program, the Dominatrix, that’s identical to Steelport.
The Saints Row: The Third – Enter the Dominatrix release date is expected to be marked for sometime during this fall. The standalone expansion pack is scheduled to arrive for the Xbox 360 and PS3 gaming consoles as well as PCs for a price of USD 29.99, as previously noted.
