A couple of weeks back, inFamous 2 went gold as its June release date surfaced in the gaming terrain. The title is again grabbing headlines as Sucker Punch unboxed its Hero Edition to give a sneak peep of the bundled offerings. A post on the official PlayStation blog has listed out the varied components packed into the inFamous 2 Hero Edition.
As reported in February, the Hero Edition of the title will come with a 8.5-inch Cole McGrath statue designed and sculpted by Sucker Punch and Dave Cortes, respectively. There’s also a New Marais roof top stand with the figurine and a full size replica of Cole’s sling pack which features a signature Sly patch.
The company seems to have packed something for every inFamous fan in this edition. Well, comic fans can satiate their needs for graphics and action with the first issue of the inFamous DC comic book. Extending a new insight into the game’s plot, the comic is said to narrate the backstory of characters such as Moya and Sasha.
In addition to the aforesaid goodies, the bundle comprises a Blu-Ray disc of the game with access to expansive user-generated content. Further, a Super Voucher packed in the assortment unlocks access to electrocution grenade, lightning hook, Kessler skin and Reaper skin. Gamers can also choose one of the four Amp variants including Gold Amp, Sly’s Cane, Caveman Club and Samurai Sword. It will also let players to download the special inFamous 2 Red soundtrack.
The inFamous 2 Hero Edition will be available in limited quantities starting June 7, 2011 at the price of 99.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,530).
