As we’d reported in early 2010, the title is expected to unfold narratives based on real criminal events that occurred in the year 1947 across the city of Los Angeles. Touted to have derived inspiration from real life accounts reported in the newspaper daily L.A. Times, the developer Team Bondi created these fictionalized criminal cases for the title.

The L.A. Noire 1947 Edition Crime Map has been plugged to feature some of the aforesaid cases. These include the story of a 72-year old oil man named E.J. Miley who offered a lift to three youths on a trip from LA to Frenso and the events which unfolded later. It will also bring forth a case revolving around a family’s death at the hands of a young, disturbed veteran.

Gamers can log onto the official L.A. Times Interactive website to unravel the L.A. Noire 1947 Edition Crime Map. Further, the title will allow players to solve numerous cases subsequent to its launch on May 17, 2011.
