All the zombie slayers out there who’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of Dead Island, will have an option to further immerse themselves into the game by means of an iOS app designed specifically for the title. It will be available for download on iOS devices like the iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch through the iTunes App Store. The launch date of the app will coincide with that of the immensely anticipated title.

Dead Island

Developed by BradyGames in partnership with publisher Deep Silver, the app contains detailed maps of ‘every square mile’ of Banoi Island. The latter is the fictional setting in which the game will conspire. Apparently aimed at turning the iOS devices into navigational tools, the maps in the app are zoomable as well as scrollable.
