The game kicks off with the character of Chuck Greene entering the world of a reality TV show titled ‘Terror is Reality.’ In the show, contestants need to fend off and survive huge groups of zombies for winning large sums of money. Gamers will need to don Greene’s role who participates in the contest for keeping his daughter alive. However, the motocross champion is blamed for a severe zombie outbreak and players must try to survive this onslaught while clearing their name.

In the game, players will have to annihilate hordes of living dead with weapons made out of daily items. By combining these products with a duct tape, they can create the ultimate fighting weapons during the terrifying attack. Besides, players can rack more Prestige Points by crafting numerous combo weapons to level up in the game. The title also features a 2-player co-op play along with an in-game tranciever, enabling gamers to step into this horrifying world with a friend.

Xbox 360 gamers who wish to further indulge in the Dead Rising fantasy can download exclusive content with Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. This Prologue is now available on the Xbox Live and brings back the character of Frank West. Players can indulge in co-op action by teaming West with Greene to unravel the mystery behind the Willamette incident. This DLC will plug the gap between the two Dead rising title, enhancing the gameplay experience for fans.

Dead Rising 2 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC is now available in North America. We’ve not yet heard about the official pricing details of the game.
