Back in August, Konami revealed the release date for its much-awaited title dubbed Saw II: Flesh & Blood. Unveiling a new chapter in this terrifying horror series, the game has been released across North America for the Xbox 360 and PS3. In this sequel, players will have to step into the boots of detective Tapp’s son namely Michael.

So it means so much to align with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures to work on a video game based on Saw, the most successful horror franchise of all time. Our collective vision and approach for Saw II: Flesh & Blood will immerse players in a bone-chilling gaming experience that will not disappoint.”

This new installment in the series features actor Tobin Bell in the role of the petrifying villain, Jigsaw. Gamers can unravel Jigsaw’s cruel world as they make their choices to progress further in the title. On a mission to explore the secret behind Detective Tapp’s death, they will have to bring their intelligence and survival instinct into play. The title will require them to resolve mind-bending puzzles for escaping Jigsaw’s maniacal traps.
Just in time for this year’s Halloween, Saw II: Flesh & Blood is now available for gamers across North America. The seventh movie in this series titled Saw 3D has been slated for an October 29, 2010 release.
