Blade Kitten Coming to PSN this Spring

Blade Kitten is a classic action side-scroller which features “all the cool HD bells and whistles” the developers could add. Now Steve Stamatiadis, Creative Director at Krome Studios writes on the PlayStation Blog that Blade Kitten will come to the PlayStation Network for the PS3 in the Spring.

There’s a whole lot of stuff on the blog post, including the game’s origins, reasons why development of the game was put on hold, and some stuff about the webcomic. The blog post reveals that the game is a mash up of three different ideas for games, none of which single-handedly were perceived to do much on their own.

The blog post also has some screens and a trailer of the hi-def, high-action game, which follows a female protagonist who is shadowed by what can be seen as a hovering sword. Developed and published by Krome Studios, Blade Kitten hit the PSN this spring, but prices have not been announced yet.
