Transformers: War for Cybertron last month acquired two characters namely Breakdown and Air Raid. Now game publisher Activision unveils two new playable characters in the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron title namely Barricade and Warpath.
Barricade, a scout class Decepticon wields a Neutron Repeater as his Primary Weapon and hones the Shockwave and Cloak abilities. A car as his chassis, Barricade is a speed demon that is seen as a brutal leader to the other Decepticons. A favorable tactic of his is to entice Autobots to chase him in their transformed appearances and then maneuver through places that only he has the ability to traverse.
Warpath is noted to be a soldier class Autobot whose primary weapon is also the Neutron Repeater. He possesses abilities like the Barrier and Guided Missile. A devoted and confident soldier to his Autobots, Warpath is also partially deaf thanks to his large cannon. His thick skull and stubbornness always leads him to press forth and do battle with the Decepticons. Warpath loves showing off to other just how he can split a hex nut with his tan gun from a mile and a half away.
Transformers: War for Cybertron is scheduled to zoom into stores by June 22, 2010 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. The exact pricing details are still under wraps.
