We’ve heard quite a bit of the Play 4 Free, cartoonie-styled video game Battlefield Heroes from EA by now, and not so long ago we heard that the game had got 3 million registered players. Now we have word that Battlefield Heroes has been invaded by vampires and werewolves.
The millions of Heroes who succumbed on the battlefield can be brought back to life, in a special month long event. An Electronic Arts statement goes, “Anyone can fight alongside these preternatural beings but to become one players must purchase the all-new outfits as a special bundle on the website or as separate items in the in-game store.”
Dead Nationals can be transmutated into vampires, while dead Royals can be transformed into werewolves. And three existing maps have been converted to portray an eerie night setting for the two immortal enemies to battle it out.
Battlefield Heroes offers hours of sandbox action and is free to play. You can customize your hero and upgrade various items using Valor Points earned during the course of the game or using Battlefunds.
