The game combines elements from action shooter games with those from a documentary. One of the most authentic military shooters, the game has been made by partnering with over 3 dozen US Marines utilizing after action photos, videos, reports, and having unprecedented access to battle plans and satellite maps.

“Six Days in Fallujah creates a very compelling interactive experience,” explained Brian Christian, VP of Product Development for Konami Digital Entertainment. “We are creating a 3rd person shooter unlike any other by combining a brand new game engine, authentic weaponry, missions and combat set against the gripping story of the US Marines on the ground.”

Six Days in Fallujah puts players in a position to experience the battle of Fallujah, playing as a fire-team leader in the US Marines. The game offers players a variety of ways to turn the tide in their favor such as breaking down doors, eliminating enemy cover, blasting away walls and destroying the environment around the enemy. To give the game a realistic feel, the environments have been painstakingly constructed using satellite imagery, and weapons from the US Marines and vehicles have been used to build models of the same.

Six Days in Fallujah also features an online mode and a co-op mode allowing players to team up with other fire-team members. The game comes with an expected released date of 2010. Pricings have not been announced.
