The highly anticipated Resident Evil 5 is finally picking the light of day. While the game is expected to debut around March 2009, gaming enthusiasts will now be treated with a much early demo of the exciting game. Capcom will be premiering the Resident Evil 5 demo exclusively for the Xbox 360 systems starting January 2009.
The demo version of Resident Evil 5 is a two-level, playable title where players will be in for the scariest experience of their lives. Characterized by horror, the title will certainly scare the daylights of the weak. Gamers can now get first glimpses of the powerful features of the game on the demo. The iconic survival horror title is bundled with a two-player co-op along with voice chat, new characters, weapons and also novel environments.
From the start itself, the game is based on two stages namely Assembly Place and Shanty Town. Gamers can gear themselves for loads of co-operative action, shooting and infected Majini enemies. Besides the bloodthirsty enemies and action, the Resident Evil 5 demo also requires gamers to solve a few puzzles. Summing up the action are three co-op play levels which include AI support, two-player split-screen on a single Xbox 360 and two-player across Xbox Live.
The Resident Evil 5 demo also gives players an option of using the classic Resident Evil-style controls or switching to the newer action controls in lines of Gears of War 2 and Halo 3. The action for Xbox 360 gamers does not end here. They will also be among the first ones to combat new enemies in battle like an army of weapon-wielding infected Majini, the gigantic hooded Majini Executioner and the dreaded Chainsaw Majini.
Resident Evil 5 will launch on March 13, 2009. Gamers who can’t wait until the whole pack arrives can get the playable demo exclusively on their Xbox 360 starting January 26, 2009 onwards. The Resident Evil 5 demo will be available for one week. Also today gamers can download a new exclusive high-definition trailer of the game.
