Darksiders is the game from THQ, and earlier we reported that the pricing and release information for the game in India had been revealed. Now we have word of the Darksiders pre-order incentives in the UK.
All pre-order copies of the game will come with a code which can be used to unlock an exclusive in-game weapon called ‘The Harvester’. This scythe is taken from the arsenal of Death himself, and allows ‘War’ to cripple his enemies with ease from a good distance.
Those who pre-order from Play.com will also receive a code which unlocks an exclusive War costume for their avatar on Xbox Live or PlayStation Home, while those who pre-order from Amazon will get a Ruin head mask for their Xbox Live Avatar or PlayStation Home character. Players who pre-order the game from Gamestation will receive an exclusive Darksiders comic book which expands the back story of the game. The comic is drawn by ex-Marvel artist and Vigil Games creative lead, Joe Madureira. And pre-orders from HMV will get you an exclusive Your Last Centrefold calendar.
Darksiders is scheduled to release on January 5, 2009 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. In India the game will cost Rs. 2,499.
