Ubisoft has announced that the lovable and yet crazy Rabbids, will receive their own standalone brand. Rabbids Go Home the adventure comedy game, is being arranged for a Holiday 2009 release and will benefit from a new game engine developed specially keeping in mind the Wii home console from Nintendo.
The Rabbids have already reached a huge worldwide audience with their slapstick comedy elements, selling about six and a half million copies of their adventures. Now they break free from Rayman and feature in their own brand. And fans will be able to experience the creatures in a humorous adventure title, in which the Rabbids let loose the insanity on the human world in an attempt to return to their Rabbid home.
The May edition of Nintendo Power magazine will have more information on Rabbids Go Home. No exact release date or clear price has been announced for the game, which is developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the same team behind the original Rayman Raving Rabbids.
