Complete Brutal Legend Soundtrack disclosed

Brutal Legend is all set to hit the gaming scene in North America and Europe in October 2009. This action-adventure game boasts of numerous songs from the metal genre. GameDaily reveals the official setlist of the game which includes more than 100 songs that heated up the metal music scene. .

Being a headbanger’s dream come true, Brutal Legend features the likes of Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Dragonforce and many more. The title features star Jack Black who is Eddie Riggs, the hero of the game. His intention is to save the world by utilizing the power of rock. Gamers can watch out for some great appearances by music legends Rob Halford from Judas Priest’s, Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford and Lemmy Kilmister from the band Motorhead. The game includes a free-roaming universe which depicts the darkness and mysticism of a scene plucked out from an Iron Maiden album cover.

“This soundtrack took years to put together as we wanted to represent every genre of Metal, and also have the perfect music for every epic moment in the game. It’s designed to be loved by Metal fans, and for those who are not, it will either convert them or make their heads explode … or both,” commented Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions development studio.

Emily Ridgeway Brutal Legend’s music director further states, “What can I say? It’s metal. It’s the best. It’ll kick your f****** teeth in.”

The pumping soundtrack includes Deadly Sinners and Destroy the Orcs by 3 Inches of Blood, Fast As A Shark- Accept, Angel Witch- Angel Witch and Metal Thrashing Mad- Anthrax. The list also comprises of March of the Crabs and Tag Team by Anvil, Sulpher Injection- Apostasy, A Serpentine Grave- Bishop of Hexen, Children of the Grave, Symptom of the Universe and Never Say Die by Black Sabbath, Cry of the Banshee and Drink the Blood of the Priest by Brocas Helm, Breadfan and Zoom Club by Budgie and Witches by Candlemass.

The game’s soundtrack also consists of No Love Lost- Carcass, Nightstalker- Cloven Hoof, Angels Don’t Kill- Children of Bodom, Skeleton on your Shoulder- Coroner, Her Ghost in the Fog- Cradle of Filth, Queen of the Masquerade- Crimson Glory, Insomnia-Dark Fortress, Cathode Ray Sunshine- Dark Tranquility and Blitzkrieg- Deathstars.
