A few weeks ago, we had reported that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be published by Atari. At that time Atari did not reveal anything about the launch dates of the game. But now it has emerged that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be out this year in June.
The information was first revealed by Sony Pictures who apparently divulged in a press release that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be launched at the same time as the Blu-ray of the original Ghostbusters movie. Atari has confirmed that the Ghostbusters game will release in June 2009.
So what are the release dates for Ghostbusters: The Video Game? Well, Atari has stated that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be launched in North America on June 16, 2009 while Europe gets it three days later, that is on June 19, 2009. The game will be launched for the PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms.
