The anti-hero ”˜Merc with a Mouth’, Deadpool from Marvel, has already made an appearance in the X-Men Origins movie, although many felt that the movie version was lacking in various departments including his dark humor. Earlier we reported that Raven Software was open to the idea of making a video game dedicated to Deadpool. Now IGN reports that Deadpool will be bringing his wisecracks to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
According to them, Deadpool is shown alongside Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man and some other characters in an ad featured in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game. Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man and the other characters have already been confirmed to be in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 as playable characters. Only 15 of these 24 playable characters for MUA2 have been revealed, and now it seems Deadpool will join those fifteen. Apparently, the Deadpool character in the game dons his classic appearance as opposed to how he was depicted in the recent film, while Activision is yet to confirm that Deadpool will be in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 game.
