Left 4 Dead 2 Demo available to Xbox Live Gold Members and PC players

Valve has brought to the gaming industry some well-known titles such as Counter-Strike and Half-Life as well as being responsible for leading technologies like Source and Steam. The company now reveals that the Left 4 Dead 2 demo can be accessed by Xbox Live Gold Members and all PC gamers as well. We had earlier reported that the demo version of this horror installment is already available to those players who have previously pre-ordered their copy of Left 4 Dead 2.

The much-awaited demo includes the gameplay plucked right out of ‘The Parish’ campaign. Up to four players can get in on all the action either over local or Internet connections for the PC and Xbox 360. The demo also includes many new melee weapons and all the new boss infected zombies that are included in the game. Offering players a more intense co-op gameplay, they can wield items like frying pans, baseball bats, chainsaws and more.

In the game things like weather effects, pathways and world objects can be altered thanks to the AI Director 2.0. This latest installment in the Left 4 Dead series includes new survivors, weapons, items and terrifying boss zombies. Also espied withing the game are more versus and co-operative campaigns as well as new Scavenge competitive game mode and Survival maps.

Left 4 Dead 2 is set to unleash its horror upon the gaming world on November 17, 2009. The exact pricing details are not yet revealed by the company.
