Left 4 Dead 2 is the action horror title from Valve which has received a bit of fan ire since it was perceived that the company had announced the game’s existence and release, too soon after the first. Earlier we reported that Valve had announced the demo for Left 4 Dead 2, and given a few details.
Now Valve sends word that the Left 4 Dead 2 demo for the Xbox 360 console has been released and is now available for those who have pre-ordered the game, while the PC demo is scheduled to be released today, Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
The demo will feature gameplay from ‘The Parish’ campaign, and will have four player local or online multiplayer capabilities. The demo is to have the all new boss infected zombies and all new melee weapons. Xbox 360 gamers will be able to use the two player split screen mode.
The Left 4 Dead 2 demo is expected to become available to Xbox Live Gold members on November 3, 2009, and to all Xbox Live members on November 10, 2009, ahead of the game’s launch on November 17, 2009.
