Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals Coming This Fall, says Konami

Konami Digital Entertainment is renowned for its Metal Gear series and its Silent Hill series. Now Konami has sent word that Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii is in development and will be released this fall.

Zephyr

In the game, you control a “dynamic tornado” to unleash destruction upon environments obliterating basically everything that stands in your way. You are tricked into believing that you can save an “epic hero” by causing all this destruction, when you are actually working on the side of evil. You grow bigger and bigger as you swallow up the things in your path, searching for enemies and elements from another world.

Various missions packed with humor are featured in the game with expansive sandbox-style gameplay, and players can turn entire towns upside down. Zephyr also allows for co-op play to double the destructive action while battling the evil Omegaton. The game features large open world and an active destruction game mechanic, which lets gamers obliterate what they want and when they want.

Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals is currently in development by Loose Cannon Studios and is scheduled to be released across North America this fall for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, while prices have not been revealed.
