Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the LucasArts video game released in September last year. Earlier we reported that DLC was coming in the fall. Now we have word that new DLC has been released for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The DLC consists of a new single-player level for the game, which features the “Secret Apprentice” in a mission which promises to bring something completely new to the Star Wars saga, and at the same time, continue the story of the game.

The mission takes off from the very end of The Force Unleashed and is a re-imagining of sorts, with the Secret Apprentice having killed Darth Vader and taken his place beside the Emperor. This makes the Secret Apprentice the most powerful Sith Lord in the whole universe. Players are sent to the planet Tatooine in a hunt for the solitary Jedi, Obi Wan Kenobi, and will come up against bounty hunter Boba Fett and explore the palace of Jabba the Hutt.
