Bayonetta is the action game from Platinum Games which is expected to blow the doors off the action genre. Sega recently held an event in Tokyo called ‘Feel Bayonetta’ in which gamers were invited to try out the game on the Xbox 360 and PS3. And AndriaSang is reporting that publisher Sega and Platinum Games plan to release a demo of the game.
At the event, director Hideki Kamiya and producer Yusuke Hashimoto spoke a little bit about the game and their plans. Speaking about the demo, Hashimoto said, “We’re currently hard at work on it.” Hashimoto added some interesting comments. “It will be more than just a demo that’s pulled from the middle of the game. We’d like to make it so that those who’ve already bought the game will make new discoveries if they play the demo,” the producer stated.
No one is too sure what they mean about the demo not being just pulled out from the middle of the game. Bayonetta is expected in Japan in late October, while US gamers will have to wait till January next year to get their hands on the full game. No release dates were revealed for the game’s demo.
