Chessmaster Live is a downloadable version of Ubisoft’s Chessmaster series. It will let gamers play against the AI or opponents of all skills worldwide via Xbox Live. The game has five original chess variants such as a Message Chess option that permits gamers to engage in matches over the span of several days, weeks or even months. Also, it features marvelously crafted 3D chess sets, which are inspired by luxury chess board designer House of Staunton.

The other game, Rez HD is an adventure title that features industrial beats and rhythms. The frenetic, wire-frame shooter takes gamers to the world’s computer network, where they have to hack, alter and take over the music, creating unique rhythms. It is a high definition update of the original game and has new characteristics as new visuals and sound effects. Gamers can also expect five levels, all with their own distinctive visual theme, style and musical track, as well as three modes, including Easy, Main and Score Attack.

Chessmaster Live has been developed in-house by Ubisoft. The game will cost 800 Microsoft Points and will be available worldwide (with the exception of Japan and Korea). As for Rez HD, it will be available worldwide and will also cost 800 MP. The game has been developed by Q Entertainment, the studio which has worked on Every Extend Extra Extreme and Lumines Live!
