Video gamed publisher Koei, who specializes in action and strategy games, has sent word that Dynasty Warriors 6 has reached gold status. It will begin shipping to retailers in North America in a few days. The tactical action game will have sixty frames per second graphics.
Dynasty Warriors 6 is based on the classic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It will feature truly cinematic kung-fu action experience. The game has new fighting techniques along with new weapons. The fighting techniques have been motion-captured from leading stuntmen and women in Asia. There is also the ‘Renbu’ attack system and game controls, which lets gamers easily execute lightning-fast combos.
Dynasty Warriors 6 has been developed by Omega Force for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Koei will be distributing the game. Dynasty Warriors 6 will be available in North America from February 19, 2008. It will be launched in Europe sometime next month. The Dynasty Warriors series has sold more than fifteen million units worldwide. Just a few months ago, Koei had released a Nintendo DS version of Dynasty Warriors in North America.
