One of the most interesting third person shooters besides Gears of War that has been released in the last two years is Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. The shooter has great gameplay coupled with an amazing storyline, which is one of the ingredients needed for a blockbuster Hollywood action movie.
The internet has been rife with speculations about a Lost Planet movie from quite some time. One report on the net pointed out that apparently David Hayter, who has worked on Metal Gear series, could be writing a script for the Lost Planet film. Now gaming news website 1UP is reporting that the movie adaptation of Lost Planet could well be on its way and would be out in 2011.
The sources also told them that the distributor of the Lost Planet movie will be Warner Bros. The film will be co-produced by Capcom and Seaside Films.
