Well the first one was a hit or miss. All the Xbox 360 users, undoubtedly were screaming “GTA killer is here!,” while others were just saying could have been a lot better. Last September, we confirmed that Saints Row 2 was indeed coming on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
It has been confirmed by THQ that Saints Row 2 is releasing on August 26, 2008 and it will feature an online co-op for the entire campaign, along with a redesigned city, new vehicles, more character customization options and a better and improved multi-player. No PC release set for Saints Row “again” would be nice if they would at least release the first one for the poor ‘ol PC gamers.
As for us, Saints Row 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year because the first game was an amazing effort towards open world gameplay. We are sure with time and feedback THQ will churn out an improved game that would/might just give Grand Theft Auto a run for its money.
