Most gaming companies choose big events such as E3, Tokyo Game Show or even the Game Developers Conference to unveil or showcase their blockbuster games. But some hold special events to unveil big games. A few days ago, we had reported that a KOTOR massively multiplayer online game could be revealed soon.
Now it has emerged that the gaming press in the United States have received invites from BioWare and LucasArts. The event is about a major announcement and it will take place in San Francisco on October 21, 2008. It reads:
“BioWare and LucasArts invite you to attend the official unveiling of the game that’s been rumored about for years.”
Apparently, the game could be a sequel to the Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic RPG that was released a few years ago. BioWare as well as LucasArts is keeping mum about it but Star Wars fans would be delighted to have such a game. The announcement will take place just a few days after the launch of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
