No More Heroes to Ship Early?

A few months ago, we had reported that Ubisoft was publishing No More Heroes in North America. The release date of the game for the Nintendo Wii was pegged to be in February 2008. But now IGN is reporting that No More Heroes for the Nintendo Wii will release a little early, that is in January 2008.

No More Heroes tells the story of Travis Touchdown, an anime fan who lives in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California. After an unanticipated turn of events, Travis finds himself at the bottom of an Assassins’ organization. Travis will have to establish himself worthy and defeat 10 other murderous killers – all with deep stories of their own, to make his way to the top of the assassin’s league.

No More Heroes is now expected to release for the Nintendo Wii on January 22, 2008. The game has been developed by Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. Normally, video games are postponed, but in this case it seems that it has been launched earlier than expected, which is very rare.
