One more game rumor, due to an online retailer’s listing, has been flying around! A GoNintendo reader discovered a listing for the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 on GameStop’s website. The game was priced at $29.99 (approx. Rs.1330).
The listing has now been removed from GameStop’s website. Also, Capcom is neither ready to confirm nor deny Resident Evil 4 for the Nintendo Wii. Normally such online retailing websites would never put a listing until they are sure about a product. On the GameStop listing, the release date was given as June 12, 2007, which is not that far away. There is a huge chance that Capcom could announce Resident Evil 4 for the Nintendo Wii at the forthcoming Gamers Day on April 12, 2007.
Resident Evil 4 that was first released for the GameCube and then later ported to PS2 and the PC would be an awesome title for the Wii. The chainsaw feature would let Wii gamers thoroughly enjoy the Wii mote and anyways, there is a lack of action games for Nintendo’s next-gen console.
