There has always been a big debate in the gaming world about PC gaming and console gaming. The gaming industry is sometimes divided though most of them sit on the fence about the whole issue. But now in an interview with GamesIndustry.Biz, the art director of Crytek, Michael Khaimzon has said that PC has always been a better gaming platform compared to the consoles.
Michael Khaimzon said, “My opinion on them in comparison to the PC is that I think the PC is always better. Because the PC you can do so many things with, and the console is just there for the gaming. You cannot create characters on a console – you can’t run a 3D programme from one, as far as I know. You can’t play certain strategy games on a console well, like Total Annihilation for example, or at least I haven’t seen one, I think it’s limiting to certain types of games.”
Michael Khaimzon spent the early part of his like in Communist Russia. He mentioned that PC gamers can always plug in a controller and play same kinds of games as consoles. Also, he dismissed the notion that there are compatibility issues and the price of graphics cards is too high.
