Halo 3’s weapon list just seems to keep expanding. A recent report by the 7th columnist reveals a brand new weapon to the brute side. It goes by the name of “The Excavator” and had surfaced in the Et Tu Brute Vidoc. The initial beginnings, the weapon can be seen in the video titled the Evolution of Halo. The gun was nicknamed, the boring gun, back then.
According to the veteran blogger Luke Smith, he calls this particular weapon a ‘hand cannon of death’ and the forums on Xbox.com where the entire rumor mill says:
- “The round starts and Joe and I each pick up one of these new weapons. These are awe-inspiring cannons that fit in one hand, a fistful of death and head toward a power-up.”
The info on this new weapon is legit for the time being, and more shall be revealed at E3 which I presume has already begun. The other thing that this 7th dude caught hold of are the variety of armor variations in the game, specially the helmets
A couple of them look real cool, the one which has a strong resemblance to the Storm-Trooper helmet seems something straight out of a Star Wars movie, given the tremendous hype surrounding the game all this bits and pieces of information that Microsoft and Bungie seem to be trickling down are going to have some impact on those 10 year old Chief fans. Poor little kids will not know what took their childhood away..!
