Speculations about a DS version of Assassin’s Creed have been doing the rounds of the internet from the time GameStop come out with a listing. However, the biggest indication about the handheld versions of the game has come now as Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond spoke about their future plans.
Jade Raymond told Eurogamer TV, “We want to make a real plan where you can make a game, you make a book, and you know maybe other types of portable games that have complementary experiences.” He made this statement at recent UbiDays event.
Ubisoft is planning to reveal Assassin’s Creed for PS3 and Xbox 360 in playable form at a press event, which will be held at the same time as next month’s E3. So maybe they could announce the handheld versions of Assassin’s Creed then. The game will also release in a special limited edition.
