Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that it will publish the third person shooter, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for the PS3. EA made this announcement along with a financial report.
Andrew Goldman, CEO, Pandemic said, “Pandemic Studios is excited to join forces with EA Partners to give Mercenaries 2: World in Flames a spectacular global launch. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will set the bar for explosive, open world action games in the next generation, and everyone at Pandemic is excited that fans will be able to get their hands on it later this year.”
There were reports that said that Mercenaries 2: World in Flames could release for the Xbox 360 too, but there is no confirmed news about that. Nevertheless, who knows, the come could still release for the Xbox 360 as many other games, which were once PS3 exclusives, are now being made for the Xbox 360. The first Mercenaries game was released for the PS2 and Xbox and was published by LucasArts. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for the PS3 is expected to release later this year.
