Konami Corp. the makers of Metal Gear Solid game announced that they are planning a movie based on this videogame.
Silent Hill another video game adaptation of Konami Corps game Silent Hill. which was released in April was quite successful and even managed to replace comedy spoof “Scary Movie 4″ as the top choice for North American moviegoers in late April.
Kazumi Kitaue, the head of Konami’s North American and European operations confirmed the possibility of a movie based on Metal Gear Solid game during an interview with Reuters at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
Kitaue said, “We are a game specialist and not a movie specialist. Any movie will be best handled by a movie company.”
Lets just hope Uwe Ball is not called in to direct Metal Gear Solid movie.
