But now, the time is to exult as O-Games has declared the release of its new sports video game, PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii which is now available from retail stores throughout the United Kingdom.
PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour extends its precursors and features leading players such as Simon Whitlock, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Jelle Klaasen and Mervyn King. With updated graphics, an optimized control system and character models, the game delivers accurate, fluid and simple throwing dynamics and tries to erase the digital seam. It also supports the PlayStation Move motion controller and Wii Motion+ technology along with the traditional control pads of Xbox 360 and PS3.
The detailed career mode of PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour offers the latest tournaments including the Grand Slam of Darts which is a new contest in the PDC events calendar. Heated up action-stages are further set ablaze by new commentaries from TV’s ‘Voice of Dars’ Sid Waddell and John Gwynne as well as Master of Ceremonies, John McDonald along with top level match referees such as Bruce Spendley, Russ Bray. Reportedly, the game also features head-to-head online matches for PS3 and Xbox 360 players.
The PS3 iteration of PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour is backed up by special downloadable content that is transmitted over PSN which adds two new Professional Darts Corporation players, namely Wayne Mardle (2004 and 2005 LVDC runner-up) and Peter Manley (2003 LVDC winner) to the roster. A Las Vegas Desert Classic set and tournament comprising of five rounds and a straight legs format for 32 competitors is also bundled within the DLC and can be accessed in the Career mode.
PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour is no on retail for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii gaming consoles and is reported to support PlayStation Move and Wii MotionPlus controllers.
