Tomy Corporation has announced that it will be publishing Pangya: Fantasy Golf exclusively for the PSP. The game can be played as one of 18 characters and features thousand of options to customize the equipment and the characters. The fantasy courses appearing in the game are beautifully rendered and provide imaginative gameplay.
“We are thrilled to introduce gamers to Pangya: Fantasy Golf, the first PSP title in our growing portfolio of interactive games,” revealed Mark Shinohara, chief operating officer of Tomy Corporation. “Pangya offers a unique fantasy golf experience that gamers will truly appreciate. With a compelling storyline and extraordinary visuals, players can easily immerse themselves in Pangya’s mythology.”
Pangya: Fantasy Golf allows players to practice their swing for perfection on the nine courses of Pangya Island and is based on the PC MMO Pangya game by Ntreev Soft. Players can make use of the in-game Pangya shop to access the many power items, accessories, outfits and golf gear. The golfing experience is vastly enhanced with modes such as Tournament, Free Round, Story, Network and License Mode allowing up to eight players to compete against each other.
The prices of the game haven’t been announced, but Pangya: Fantasy Golf is developed by Ntreev Soft and is expected to be released only on the PSP in the summer of 2009.
