The visual upgrades and trophy support laden Resident Evil 4 HD has finally been made available to PSN users by way of this week’s PS Store Update. And what’s more! PS Plus member get a 50 percent discount on this classic title which otherwise retails at 19.99 USD. Burnout Crash, Saints Row 2 and Cubixx HD are some of the other noticeable releases.
Resident Evil 4 HD, which was originally released by Capcom for GameCube, has been re-mastered for the PS3 and is offered with five free avatars from the game. This deal is however available only till October 4, 2011. The much loved Crash Mode from the Burnout series makes its way into Burnout Crash along with two other game modes. Cubixx HD on the other hand, is an action puzzle title that includes 50 challenges and access to over 150 online leaderboards. Both Burnout Crash and Cubixx HD are now available on the PS Store at 9.99 USD (approx Rs. 480).
As Saints Row: The Third gears up for its much anticipated release, Volition has decided to give gamers a taste of its predecessor, Saints Row 2 by re-launching it on PSN. Also new on this week’s list of PS Store downloads is Bolt which is based on the Disney movie of the same name. These two games are currently up for grabs at a price of 19.99 USD (approx Rs. 960) each. Altered Beast is another new entry on PSN and is priced at 4.99 USD (approx Rs. 239). The NBA 2K12 demo is now available for free alongside a demo of Burnout Crash.
PS Plus subscribers can rejoice this week a as three PS one Classics, Resident Evil Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis are being offered for free to them. They also get free game trails of Saint’s Row 2 and Bolt alongside a 30 percent discount on Cubixx HD. Also new on PSN are updates for titles like Fallout: New Vegas, Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and Skydrift: Extreme Fighters amongst others. F1 2011, which released a few days back, gets its VIP Pass that allows gamers to participate in the multiplayer modes of the game. Persona 2: Innocent Sin Digital and Edge are the only new offerings to PSP gamers this week. They retail at 39.99 USD (approx Rs. 1,921) and 4.99 USD (approx Rs. 239) respectively.
