Gamers loyal to the PlayStation brand would be well acquainted with the PlayStation 2: Greatest Hits. That trend will continue as the PS3 too will be getting an official budget lineup! Now IGN has word that Sony Japan will be introducing “PlayStation 3 the Best” lineup over there.
Listings of the initial set of PlayStation 3 games that fall under the PS3 the Best lineup were posted by a Japanese online retailer. It was also revealed that PS3 gamers in the land of the rising sun will be able to get the PlayStation 3 the Best versions of Resistance: Fall of Man, FolksSoul, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Gundam: Target in Sight and Ridge Racer 7.
Games from the PlayStation 3 the Best budget lineup will be available from March 19, 2008 in Japan. As for the price, these PS3 games will be available for 3800 yen (approx. Rs.1400) each. However, titles from the PlayStation 2 the Best line up cost less as they come with a price tag of 2800 yen (approx. Rs. 1030) and lower.
