Last year in March, we reported that video game publishers SNK Playmore had announced Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Volume 1 for the PlayStation 2. Now they have sent word that they have shipped Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 for the PS2 to North American retailers.
Ben Herman is the president of SNK Playmore USA Corporation. He explains, “The Fatal Fury series has always been an SNK fan favorite and now with Battle Archives Vol. 2 we can bring the story full circle. This collection provides both classic gamers and a whole new generation of gamers with the greatness that is Fatal Fury.”
It contains three games from the Fatal Fury series on one disc, Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 comprises of, Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2; The Newcomers. These games have been praised for stylish character designs as well as hand-drawn animation. They feature the original 2 Line System.
It is good to see the Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 on the PS2. Gamers would be happy to get the fighting game. The earlier version had four games.
