Rocksmith 2014 Edition gets its release date for PS4 and Xbox One outlined

October 2013 saw the release of the Rocksmith 2014 Edition for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and now the game is all set to make its way to the PS4 and the Xbox One. Its release date for the two platforms has been revealed to be November 4 as far as North America is concerned. Furthermore, it will take the European leap a few days later, on November 7. Ubisoft has already disclosed that lots of new features have been granted to the game to make it worthy of a re-release on new-gen consoles.

Firstly, Rocksmith 2014 Edition runs at 1080p full HD, taking full advantage of the hardware prowess provided by the PS4 and the Xbox One. Moreover, the game will also make the most of the recording and streaming functions of the new consoles. This will help gamers easily capture and share their performances online. Owners of the PS4 will be provided with support for its Remote Play feature as well, allowing them check out songs at a ‘locked mastery level’ without any scoring or input, on the PS Vita of course.

More than fifty songs will be pre-loaded into Rocksmith 2014 Edition. Ubisoft has also made it clear that those who had downloaded paid tracks on the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game will be able to import them into the new title at no additional cost. 300 tracks are already available for purchase online, whereas more will keep being doled out from time to time.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition is a music game that allows you to connect your actual electric or bass guitars to your systems and play them in accordance to the visuals being displayed on the screen.
