This is Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare four-player co-op mode named Exo Survival

As if to counter criticism related to lack of innovation in yearly Call of Duty games, Activision keeps infusing them with new modes each year, and this year’s Advanced Warfare offering isn’t being spared either. The game will be blessed with an interesting four-player co-op mode titled Exo Survival. This mode will of course accompany the single-player campaign and a range of multiplayer modes which form part of all regular titles from the series. The game is slated to be released for a variety of platforms on November 4.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

The Exo Survival mode has four players donning special Exo suits and squaring off against waves of enemies. The opposing party can include anything from soldiers and drones to mechs. It will be an online-only mode, so there’s disappointment in store for all the couch co-op fans out there. This new mode from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has also been showcased in the video we’ve posted down below. If you want to jump straight to it, skip to the one minute thirty second mark directly.

This game is all set to be the eleventh main installment to the billion-dollar series. It is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, and is set to be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Like all previous titles, it will of course be a first-person shooter at heart. Its campaign will take place in the year 2054, and will star none other than Kevin Spacey himself.
