The biggest news we’ve heard is that Microsoft’s show will focus on the company’s ‘target’ audiences with a dimmed-down spotlight on Kinect-exclusive games. The highlight of Microsoft’s outing will apparently be the Halo 4 demo, which is anticipated to last 3 to 5 minutes. Expect to see a portion of the single player campaign, in motion, on stage; and the game looks phenomenal. You will also get a glimpse of the capabilities of the new enemy that 343 Industries have been talking about extensively.

Call of Duty is also going to be a part of their press conference, with a live demo of a new bleak and futuristic scenario. A prequel to the Gears of War series will be announced, with a short teaser trailer of the game. It’s being said that this will be more of a monologue to the events that are going to transpire.

Those expecting news of next generation gaming at Microsoft’s public press conference might have to go home empty handed. However their new hardware is going to be present behind closed doors for developers to explore. Expect more leaks about this in the time to come.
