Paleo Entertainment recently released the action packed Merchants of Brooklyn (MOB). It has now announced that Drug Wars is available on Steam. The game is a gory FPS known for its high octane gameplay and morbid characters.
The art style in the game is neo cell shaded and the game is presented in a comic book like style. The story is set in a futuristic New York City where Global warming has caused a deep rift between the Brooklyn gang bosses and Neanderthal inhabitants.
Players can arm themselves to the teeth with weapons ranging from environmental objects to biomechanical arms. Making full use of the CryEngine 2 game engine, Drug Wars contains a single player campaign as well as multiplayer modes. It also features deathmatch, team deathmatch and the ‘Capture The Drugs’ games which can be played by up to 32 players.
New vehicles like the Hover Bike, Hover Car, Rad Mobile and The Drug Runner Boat, which were not in MOB, make an appearance in the game. These vehicles can not only travel across the landscape, but can also be used to run down enemies.
Drug Wars is DirectX 9.0c compatible and can run on XP or Vista operating systems. Steam users can now purchase the game for a price of USD 9.99 (approx. Rs. 480).
