Once again, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) spills the beans on the upcoming video game titles. This time it is about some retro games that will soon hit Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console. The games in question are, Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden and Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game.
Ninja Gaiden was first released in 1989 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was known as Shadow Warriors in Europe and Australia. A Nintendo DS version known as Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is also being developed. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game was also launched in 1989 and was later ported to the NES and the Atari ST in 1991. A newer version of the game was released some time back on the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA).
Though the games are listed on the ESRB list, it does not necessarily mean they will be released. But usually the games listed there are launched for their respective platforms. Keep watching this space for more details.
